Terms of Service

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using Domdhi.OS ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Dominic Baca ("Domdhi," "we," "us").
2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Domdhi.OS provides personal finance tracking, budget management, financial independence calculators, and freedom-planning tools. The Service is a self-service tool that helps you organize and visualize financial data that you manually enter.
3. NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE
THE SERVICE IS NOT A FINANCIAL ADVISOR.
All calculations, projections, journey stages, runway estimates, and scenario simulations are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or any other professional advice. You should consult a qualified financial professional before making financial decisions. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on data displayed by the Service.
4. ACCOUNTS
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- The accuracy of financial data you enter into the Service
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You may not create accounts for others or share account access.
5. SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS
Access to premium features requires a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment provider.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly at the rate displayed at checkout
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through Stripe
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months
- Free-tier features remain accessible without a subscription (e.g., up to 6 bills in budget tracking)
6. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
- Scrape, crawl, or automated-harvest data from the Service
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use the Service to store data unrelated to its intended purpose
7. YOUR DATA
You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into the Service. We claim no intellectual property rights over your data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Service's code, design, branding, and content (excluding user data) are owned by Domdhi. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without written permission.
9. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Domdhi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, data, or financial losses resulting from reliance on the Service's calculations or projections.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold Domdhi harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 3, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
13. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in California.
14. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
