Installing and Upgrading to v6.2
Your First Session on a Fresh Install
Put It to Work
A reasonable first hour after installing or updating:
- Existing code with no docs? Run
/onboard. It reverse-engineersarchitecture/overview.mdandproduct/context.md, merges your root instructions additively, then chains/review:specialize. - Brand-new project? Run
/create:new-project. It scaffoldsdocs/and walks the planning pipeline to an implementation-ready tracker. - Just have a task? Run
/route {your task}and follow its recommended entry point. - Checking the install itself?
/review:check-templatesaudits orphaned agents, unused skills and broken wiring;/review:memory-healthchecks the memory store.
Habits That Pay Off
- Start sessions with
/prime; end them with/end - Read the acceptance criteria before the implementation
- Let the gate tell you the truth, and fix the cause instead of the check
- Capture the dead ends you hit — the next session will thank you
Where To Look Next
Commands, concepts and guides live in docs/reference/agents/ when your tree includes it: getting-started.md, commands.md, system-map.md and customization.md (the zone map).
TIP
You do not need all 49 workflows on day one. Learn /route, /do, /prime and /end first. The planning pipeline and the review commands make sense once you have felt the build loop.
QUIZ
You have a mature codebase with no planning docs. Which command bootstraps the docs and specialization?
